Whitewater Rafting the Bow River, Banff, Alberta

Raft the Bow River

BANFF, ALBERTA: There’s more to do in Alberta than just climbing the Canadian Rockies or shopping for the latest rafting gear in Calgary. Put that gear to use on the Bow River.

The Bow River is 587 km (364 miles) of pure excitement. Of course, you don’t have to raft it all at once (that would be exhausting!). Flowing from its source at the Blow Glacier, the Bow River winds its way south of the charming town of Lake Louise, and then turns east towards Banff. It passes through Banff and slips into Canmore, and continues on towards Calgary.

While there are routes you can follow yourself as an experienced rafter, letting our experienced guides take you on a tour you’ll never forget is the best way to get the most out of your Alberta rafting experience.
